Note: Chup is our slang for chupon or pacifier in English. My wife is Mexican.

No Comic This Week:(

Unfortunately I came down with intestinal flu this weekend and spent most of my time praying to the porcelain god. The final installment of this journal comic storyline won't come until next week. Stay tuned!

Journal Comic 10/24/2011

I realized that the last few comics I've done have been sort of a drag. It makes sense to me now that most of that stand out portions of my life, like many people, have been tragedies in my life. At least I remember them more vividly then other things because the traumatizing nature of the events. So to lighten the mood, I did a recent, more humorous, story of what happened to Angela and I on our 1st wedding anniversary night out to LB Steak house on Santana Row. Hopefully this trend of funnier stories continues.

Thanks again for reading,

Dion

P.S. Happy Birts Peewee!

Journal Comic 9/27/2011

Here we go again! I'm gonna give this journal comic another shot. This time it's gonna be a little different. Angela is helping for one and this time I'm gonna be recounting the last few years instead of what's currently happening to me. So I guess it's less a journal and more a autobiography. I'll start with the fire and work my way up to Lucy being born and see where it goes from there. Wish me luck!

August 31, 2010 - Painting the closet

The house we moved into is pretty old so Angela and I have been trying desperately to clean and re-design our new house to match our own sensibilities but with work and wedding planning its been pretty difficult.

No Ideas

I think I'm getting too preachy on this thing. I know I've just started doing these things again but its really hard to think of stuff to draw comics about. My life is pretty uneventful for the most part. I just go to work and go home. Aside from the wedding Angela and I have been planning, not much really goes on. I really need to find a writer for another comic or something cause this is getting stale really quick. I'm sure for the most part, that these comics are painful to read. Thanks for coming back to read, by the way, if you don't feel an obligation to me in any way (friend, family, fiancee) to give me some readership. Wish I could say doing these is therapeutic in some way, since it's about my life, but for the most part, for me, its an exercise in self deprecation. Which in some way can be therapeutic, I guess, but I guess that wasn't the point of it. Maybe its just about being self indulgent...not sure. Who knows...Great now this feels like a really sappy facebook post and feel crappy for writing it. ughhhh.
